On the drive we will see the majestic Mount Wellington, locally known as Kunanyi. We will journey to the historic Richmond Village, a picturesque town just outside Hobart. Known for its beautifully preserved Georgian architecture, Richmond is like stepping back in time. Stroll through the quaint streets, where you'll find charming shops, cozy cafes, and the iconic Richmond Bridge, the oldest stone bridge in Australia.

Then on to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, a short drive from Hobart. This sanctuary is dedicated to the conservation and rehabilitation of Tasmania's unique wildlife. Here, you will have the chance to meet some of Australia's most iconic animals. Get up close and personal with Tasmanian devils, kangaroos, and koalas. Knowledgeable guides will share insights into the sanctuary's efforts to protect these species, making this visit both educational and heartwarming. Don't miss the opportunity to feed a kangaroo or snap a selfie with a koala.

We stop at Pooley Wines for the cellar door, located on the outskirts of the historic Richmond township in the heart of the Coal River Valley. Nestled between Belmont, the Georgian convict-built, heritage-listed home, and the vines you will find the tasting room in The Coach House. Pooley Wines was established in 1985 when the late Jack Denis and Margaret Pooley planted vines on the banks of the Coal River in southern Tasmania. Now, in the hands of their third generation, Pooley Wines share exceptional, nurtured wines that express their uniqueness and dedication to renewing their environment for generations to come. Then on to Wicked Cheese for Cheese Tasting of award winning and decadent cheese and browse in the on-site shop
